Galleries of Soulangh Children's Museum of Art

Apart from Tainan Folk Art Performance Troupe Exhibition, Siraya Cultural Relics Exhibition, and contemporary artworks of international resident artists, Soulangh Cultural Park is also famous for its popular Children’s Museum of Art. Galleries supporting Children’s Museum of Art are designed to build an art space specifically for children to develop their aesthetic perception through experiencing art. Centering on A10 Papercut Story House and A9 Exploration Zone which have been open to the public since July 4th 2015, the Museum provides children with lively and interactive permanent exhibitions. With art as a medium, children can play and learn at the same time through visual, auditory, and tactile experiences.

Soulangh Children’s Museum of Art links satellite galleries including Soulangh Children’s Library, A5 Movie Theatre, and A6 Kid’s Playroom other than A10Papercut Story House and A9 Exploration Zone. By organizing special events, educational programs, and broadcast of films, we help kids cultivate the habit to appreciate art and to imagine art in the surroundings and the future with a more open-minded attitude. In Papercut Story House, children can appreciate works created by artists, learn the history of papercutting, and read picture books of papercut illustrations while in Exploration Zone, they can let their imagination and creativity flow through discovering the basic elements of art, such as colors, lines, shapes, light, and shadow. Soulangh Children’s Museum of Art aims to bring a refreshing environment for children to experience and learn art based on historical and cultural depth of Tainan City and the expansive scope of creations from the international artist village.
