Exhibition: Promenade / Art installation: Dovecot
In the beginning of our residence at Soulangh, we wanted to create a perambulation that takes place like a walk between indoor and outdoor spaces. It is also an exchange between inner world and outside world, a promenade which arouses our senses and our perceptions in the movement. During our stay at Jiali, we discovered by bike the streets, the nearby fields and the sea-side basins. We noticed the characters of the buildings, some recurring elements in the landscape such as pigeon lofts. All of this is very alive and looks like a large weaving between artifice and human domesticated nature. From there, an interior landscape acts as a filter between our imagination and the reality of the scene to finally give shape to this exhibition. An attentive walk, in which shapes, motion and light accompany the biological rhythm of plants that orchestrates the environment sound.
