「⼀場歪斜的演講」是藝術家林哲志在這⼀次的駐村過程中試圖對⼀個疑問「為何這裡什麼都不剩？」的重組，進⽽開啟的⼀個階段性創作，⽽這⼀個疑問的重組動機來⾃於在網路與書⾯資料對於蕭壟史事與傳說的豐富描寫與紀錄，對比於實地走訪改建為「中山公園」的北門神社的歷史痕跡 的完全「抹除」衝擊下，對於我還能在現場找到什麼，進⾏⼀場可能徒勞地思考。
“The Political Incorrectness in Lecture of Performance- I am an Emperor Prince Kitashirakawa Yoshihisa.” is the attempt made by Lin Che-chi to raise a question: “why is there nothing left?” during his residency. To reorganize relevant issues, he initiated this project based on the motive of discovering what is left here in Siao-long in contrast with plentiful online or archived historical materials and folklore about the place. Having visited “Zongshan Park”, the former Hokumon Shrine, he was shocked by the fact that all the historic remains have been completely “erased”, which makes him contemplate upon, futilely though, the chances to find any traces.
